What are you motivated by?:The Security Supervisor keeps constant vigilance of activity on and around the Resort property and documents incidents with the intent of improving the safety and security of Owners, guests, team members, and others.

Supervises security department, prepares work schedules, coordinates vacation schedules, prepares performance evaluations, and provides corrective disciplinary counseling as necessary
Creates a positive work environment
Prepares department budget and presents to GM and Regional VP
Operates department within budgetary guidelines
Coordinates and provides training for the security staff, keeping them current on all Resort rules and regulations and is familiar with security procedures for each shift
Ensures that foot patrols are completed at random times and not in a predictable time or pattern, occasionally using the golf cart
Is alert to all unauthorized entries, fire, water or sewage problems
Ensures that staff answers the telephone:“Sea Scape Security, (Name), may I help you?”
Ensures staff greets each Owner and guest in a pleasant manner
Ensures staff assists with late check-ins when the office closed
the event of an emergency or resident complaint, security will investigate immediately
Calls for assistance (911) if necessary and completes and submits the proper reports of all incidents to General Manager
Ensures staff maintains a current, up-to-date log for each shift, noting beginning/ending times and details/action taken regarding any incidents
Ensures that all outdoor recreational facilities, including pools, tennis courts and basketball areas are secure after 10:00 p.m. and that quiet is maintained
Ensures staff maintain the cleanliness of guardhouse, including windows, floor counter, coffee pot, microwave and emptying of trash
Ensures staff wear the proper uniforms and maintain a clean, neat appearance at all times
Is responsible for the safety and well-being of Owners/guests and Resort property
Enforces resort rules and regulations
Makes routine inspections of all facilities
Monitors receiving areas to assure use only by authorized personnel
Reviews incident reports and daily activity reports/logs
Handles emergencies as required by the Resort’s emergency procedures
Performs all other duties as assigned
