420 may be the biggest day on the canna-calendar, but one holiday isn’t enough for this enthusiastic community.
On 710 (July 10th), we revere the oils and concentrates that get us particularly wrecked. Founded in 2011 by rapper and cannabis industry leader Taskrok as a day to honor dabs, it’s since become one of the most popular stoner celebrations behind only 420 and Green Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving).
Don’t take it too seriously—no one else does. The 710 holiday is completely made up, just for sh*ts and giggles. Whether you celebrate right on July 10th or wait for the weekend, here are some ways you can make the most of this feel-good day.

Watch a chill nature documentary
It may be a celebration of concentrates, but you can still keep it green.
Nature documentaries, with their vibrant colors and soothing narration styles, are perfect for high viewing. Bonus if it’s got Sir David Attenborough’s honey-smooth British accent.
A few favorites:
Bake & get baked
If getting high makes you hyperfixate, you may as well focus on something fun and delicious. Spending a day dabbing and baking sweet treats sounds pretty heavenly. Throw on some episodes of the Great British Baking Show or Cake Wars and you’ve got yourself a party.
Keep your treats family-friendly, or you can try cooking with soft concentrates. Make a homemade cannabutter that you can add to cookies, bars, cupcakes, or fudge.
Get outdoors
Getting out into nature is such a tried-and-true way to enjoy a bowl or banger. The outdoors just feel more “outdoorsy” after you’ve smoked.
Hit your dab rig and head for a walk around the neighborhood, or just spread a blanket in your backyard and watch the clouds.
If you’re more ambitious, you can always head out for a hike, a kayaking trip, a round of disc golf, or a day at the beach. Bringing a full dab setup may be a bit much, but you could bring a dab pen for easy portability.
Host a stoner movie marathon
Watching movies all day bombed out of your mind is generally frowned upon in our society. (Um, it’s called self care?)
But when you invite friends, plan snacks, and call it a “Movie Marathon,” suddenly it’s a-ok. Now is the perfect time to sink into your couch with one or two besties and a dab torch.

Go to a 710 event
Rub elbows with some like-minded dabbers at a 710 event, becoming more and more prevalent in both legal and illegal markets. While the states still under prohibition won’t have any actual wax for you to pick up, they still offer a festival vibe and some dope merch.

11th Annual 710 Dab Day in Tampa
This one-day festival will have live music, art installations, interactive booths, and free swag. Recreational marijuana will be on the ballot in Florida this November, so get out there and vote, gator people!
SF Hash Week in San Francisco
This week-long celebration features seven nights of product drops at seven different lounges around the city, starting on July 10th.
The 710 Bash in White Cloud, MI
Pitch a tent for a three-day camping party with live music, vendors, and great food on a gorg tree-lined property.
710 Hash & Glass Expo in Columbia, MO
Spend a day wandering the glass booths and watching demos, shopping with artisan vendors, and enjoying outdoor gardens. Stop by the dab bar to get your vibes right, and see who wins the annual Hash Competition.
Is it your first 710? Don’t overdo it.
Remember: dabs are hella concentrated. That’s why they’re called concentrates. If you dab too hard, you’re gonna have a bad time. Don’t waste the 710 holiday by getting so baked you make yourself sick. However you choose to celebrate, take it easy so you can actually enjoy your day.
