  No need to buy a textbook because he has everything you need on Canvas and his website. He is a great teacher that is easy to reach if you have trouble with understanding an assignment. The classwork is easy and would definitely take his class again. Don't procrastinate or wait last minute to do work because notes and homework is handwritten.

  Great professor. Points are pretty much given and for completing notes and work in class. Only exam was final exam and not to hard, the rest is based on class assignments and group projects.

  Responds to emails super quickly, gives you above and beyond responses and feedback if you ask for help, his lectures are super concise but helpful, and compared to my calc classes the homework took about 1/4 the time. highly recommend if you're taking him for math 140

  Take statistics with Teachout! He is caring and his assignments are straightforward and relatively easy. There are projects that you have to do, but he gives you direct examples so there is no way to get things wrong. The final was incredibly easy, I got a 94% on it and I didn't even study. Just watch the lectures and take notes. Highly recommend!

  I had this professor in the last spring and I really enjoyed this class. There is about 2-3 homework assignments due per week and his lectures are very helpful. The homework isn't too difficult and the exams aren't too hard as well. I would take a class with this professor again if I could. :)

  Professor Teachout's Math140 class is easy as long as you don't fall behind on homework assignments, discussions, and exams. There's one project due towards the end of the course. The guidelines are fairly understandable. Don't hesitate to ask for help from Mr. Teachout because he is a very flexible professor! Good luck!

  Professor Teachout's Math140 class is pretty easy. He allows you to have extensions on the homework assignments, but encourages that you keep up and turn in assignments sooner rather than later so you won't fall behind. The test focus on mainly vocab and math problems. He's very easy and flexible to work with so don't hesitate to reach out to him!

  Mr. Teachout was such a good teacher, accepts late work for no penalties, 1 major project that has VERY clear instructions so it's soooo easy to pass. I took the 8 week accelerated class and had 0 issues if you need to take stats take it with Teachout. also its was a ZTC class

  I took the 8-week course and it was am easy A if you put in the time to get it done. flexible due dates on major projects and hw. Exams are 90% vocab and 10% math. Sign up for him at all costs.

  Do yourself a favor and take Professor Teachout's Intro to Stats class! I can't stress enough just how amazing Prof. Teachout is. I suck at math and yet I took his accelerated 8-week class. He explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand. During your hw you are graded on your effort, not how correct you are.

  I took stats during the summer, and I can't believe I learned so much. I am not good at math at all, but Professor Teachout had such great lecture videos. Super energetic, and made learning enjoyable. I would definitely recommend taking his class! Also responds to emails fairly quickly, and was always really helpful. You won't regret it!

  Professor Teachout filled our online session with incredibly informative and energetic lectures. They were a pleasure to watch and made the content easy to understand. He was very kind when leaving comments on assignments and was VERY lenient when it came to late work. I highly recommend taking him for any of his classes if you can!

  The best sats professor there is, there's four chapter and each chapter has about 6 section, each sections has lectures videos and hw, one project but very easy, ended with a 98 in the class and I just did all the work. tests area also pretty easy.

  The best professor you can take for an online stats class. The lectures and homework are straightforward and he lets you go at your own pace without taking points off. You can submit anything late until the last day of class and he will take it and give you full credit. He guides you through test reviews, hw questions and even a whole project.

  Professor Teachout is the best! I took his class in 8 weeks and although it was a lot of homework, he allows late work without penalty. His review sheets are so helpful for the exams and if you need help, he is very accessible. He makes stats super easy to understand.   He gives lot of assignments. Basically do the assignment and correct with red pen to get full credit. However, it not that bad. His exams are really easy compare to the homework and his project was very easy. I like how he had video of him teaching the lesson. I took the short term and dont regret it.   COVID-19. Wow, what a wonderful experience taking his course. As previously mentioned, do the HW, and youll be just fine. The material itself can be challenging, but the prof. does an AMAZING job at walking you through everything to set you up for success as exams are easier than hw. Really wish I couldve taken him in person, hes amazing.
